Non-Delivery Report (NDR) is a notification generated when a delivery attempt fails. The NDR contains information about why the delivery could not be completed, such as recipient unavailable, incorrect address, or refused delivery. Upon receiving an NDR, the sender or recipient can take corrective action like updating the address, rescheduling delivery, or authorizing alternate delivery options. Prompt NDR management is crucial to reduce RTO rates and improve delivery success.
